Kundalini is a combination of yoga, meditation, and breath work that was kept a secret for the last few thousand years and only taught to royalty until Yogi Bhajan brought it west to the U.S. in the 70’s. Its combination of methods are so scientific and powerful that it provides the same healing in 3 minutes that would take 3 hours in another form of yoga.

Why Kundalini Yoga?

All of the kriyas (exercises) and sets (group of exercises) are pure and unbroken streams of yogic science handed down through thousands of generations with very specific guidelines. Each exercise has an exact posture, mudra, mantra, breath, and ending. This is why we can gain so much in such a short duration.

Another wonderful thing about Kundalini specifically is that it is for all ages and health levels. You don’t need to be flexible or have a core strong enough to do a handstand. You can practice from the floor to a comfortable chair. You can also practice on your mat or on a plane, flying through the air. It is truly a method that anyone can use anywhere.

Don’t have enough time to meditate or practice yoga?

Known as a householder’s tradition, Kundalini Yoga is for busy people with hectic lives and active minds. Kundalini increases the stamina for our entire mind, body, and soul, especially targeting our nervous & endocrine systems, which are two major keys to how we function and react to life. When you start to add Kundalini to your daily routine you will strengthen these primary systems and be able to be more calm, more creative, and more compassionate overall. Most other yoga sets range from 10- 90 minutes and it is now suggested that we do some form of meditation from 10- 40 minutes a day. Kundalini is the most accurate modality that combines both so if you start a 3 – 30 minute practice you will actually be saving time. Not to mention getting more benefit to your overall system.

In your private session, we will identify areas that you would like to focus on and I will create a set of specific meditations, yoga sets, and breathwork just for you. During this session, we will practice together and I will prescribe a few sets for you to do daily.
The “prescriptions” of daily meditations aren’t required but action through consistency is where the real transformation takes place.
